25 agos 1950 anni - Bertie the Brain

Descrizione:

Bertie the Brain was the earliest computer game to be developed and was built in Toronto by Josef Kates, he created Bertie for the 1950 Canadian National Exhibition. Bertie is very large compared to the technology that we have today standing at 4 meters tall. Even though Bertie was 4 meters tall it only contained 1 game; Tic-Tac-Toe that was played against the AI. The input for the player to interact with the game was a lit keypad where the player could input and select which section of the 3x3 grid you wanted to place the next circle.

Bertie had a adjustable difficulty level and was on display for people to play for 2 weeks after which Bertie was disassembled and fell into being mostly forgotten by the vast majority of people at the time.
