The exact timing is not attested in the bible, but we know that the fall of Lucifer must have happened not very long after creation.

God created him perfect in all his ways, and he was the most beautiful of cherubim, the musical worship leader of Heaven, most likely a powerful arch angel with angels of lesser rank under him, and placed in the Garden of Eden as the Guardian Cherub (Eze 28:12-15). God anointed and established him for his work, but he became depraved and arrogant because of his beauty and greed, and decided that he wanted to be higher than God Himself (Eze 28:16, 17, Isa 14:13, 14). In response to this abominable behaviour, God punished him by expelling him from heaven, and the result of his sin was that he became a horror and no longer whole in his spiritual body, but now hollow and diseased (Eze 28:18, 19, Isa 14:12).

Hating God for putting him in his place, Lucifer now sets out to hurt God in the most effective way he knows how - hurting relationship between man and God by making man sinful, like he is. The exact time of this is not known, but the fact that some clean species of animals were breeding enough to provide a sacrifice later on gives us a rough guess of how long it might have taken.
