1 gen 2400 anni a. C. - Abacus
Descrizione:
The abacus is the earliest known form of a calculator and is sometimes referred to as a counting frame. The place of origin is unknown due to its widespread usage. Originally, the abacus was not a portable device; it was built in grooves of sand with sliding pebbles. Now, it's built as a wooden frame with sliding beads made of the same material.
In my opinion, it should be added to this list because it helped people realize math was important, it brought the idea of a portable calculator to life, and it inspired the purpose of a computer: completing tasks.
