It had 50 24-inch discs with a total storage capacity of 5 million characters (just under 5 MB). It was a IBM Model 350 Disk File that came with a IBM 305 RAMAC pc. Invented by Reynold B. Johnson, in 1956. Stored 2.52 GB. It costed $81,000 to $142, 400. 550 pounds and size of a refrigerator.
