I met a friend named Sean who lives in New York on a virtual children's game around this time. I also met his two sisters. They all become pretty important to me in the following years. They teach me a lot.

And no, they weren't a creepy old man in his basement. (Though my mom wasn't so sure at the time.) But, they were real. They're realer than any friends I met at school.

2012 me is unaware that 7 years later I'll be meeting them, finally. But 2012 me would be pretty stoked that they stayed close to me, and that our friendship, no matter how unconventional, became one of my most long-lasting relationships.

2012 me has no idea how special this friendship is.
