Brander rescinds his godly form to give his power to create a new Lumen, but so much of it comes into the Existence that it starts to coalesce into a new god instead of a Sun, who would bear enough of the First's essence to challenge the Aspects themselves, should they join in the War of Old. With his last dreg of conscience, Brander parts the new Lumen into as many shards as he is able to whilst his power wanes, giving birth as so to the Lords of Starlight, the firstborn of whom, Aurin, inherits a greater amount of essence from Brander than his brothers for the dying god chooses him as his successor in bringing an diminished version of the Lumen's true light to the extent of the Existence (Though not throughout all of it, as the Lumen once did).
Brander then becomes one with the Állteirfarr, existing as of then as a lingering conscience and living only through the will of his heirs.
Aurin and his brethren awaken on their own and without a godly mentor, and thus they scatter to all winds as to find a dwelling, which some of the Lords do with the newly awoken men of the Easternlands.
