The general destablising effects of the plauge, along with the Aldén state's depressing dependency on Yelonai trading guilds lead to a collapseof the aldén monarchy. As the androns took adavantage of the situation and pushed further into the country most of the country, the royal family and most of the nobility withrawn to the Illá Mountains, abandoning the region of Adëléne. The androns laid siege to the city, but couldn't take the city due to their naval inferiority. So the siege stagnated, and it will stagnate for decades, with misarable situation in both inside and outside the wall. In this situation appeared a prophet that promised to lead the citizens to victory. In 671 this army of sectarians successfully broke the siege around the city, and then went on retaking most andron conquests.
