On this day in Britain history, their famous capital London was bombed in a terrorist attack. Four suicide bombers attacked central London injuring innocent citizens. They targeted London’s public transportation system during morning work rush hour. The bombing left fifty-two victims dead and seven hundred injured. This was the worst terrorist attack that happened in British history. This event left British citizens devasted and fearful of another attack. Three bombers went on the underground transportation system and one went on a bus. This terrorist attack has been renamed the 7/7 bombings. The four bombers were British and had lived there as, but all four are linked to associating with the Islamic extremist group. The ages of the suicide bombers were thirty, twenty-two, nineteen, and eighteen. After this terrible attack British government and police have taken extra steps to prevent another attack. An attack like the 7/7 bombings is a very rare event to occur in this country.
