Masaccio was a Florentine artist who died at the age of 26. He was the first great painter of the quattrocento period. HE is known and recognized for his invention of the vanishing point perspective and one-point origin light.
He is praised for his ability to create 3-dimensional figures and architecture in perspective. His work, greatly advancing the art world, solidified him as a great.
His most notable work was in the Brancacci Chapel. This is where he completed "Expulsion from the Garden of Eden" and "The Tribute Money."
