13 apr 1924 anni - Dawes Plan
Descrizione:
The Dawes Plan sought to end the tensions caused by Germany’s struggle to pay the reparations put in place by the Treaty of Versailles. It sent economic aid to Germany and restructured the debt plan to allow for a more reasonable path to recovery and repayment. It also called for the evacuation of the Ruhr in order to ease international tensions. The Dawes plan was a short term success in reducing tensions and helping the German economy, but ultimately failed when the stock market crashed in 1929.
