In the year 1492 Christopher Columbus thought he was going to India but, he thought the world was flat and not a sphere so he passed by India and be encountered the Arawak who he considered as Indians and he wanted gold for the King and Queen of Spain so he forced them to give gold but they didn't know what gold was, so Columbus enslaved them and made them search for gold and if they did not get enough they would be killed, or hands chopped off.
