1 gen 1898 anni - Women and Economics
Descrizione:
A book written by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, in which she suggests that women were growing more independent by being allowed to work in more industries. This would cause a dramatic change in family life and the economy, both of which Gilman argues are good. She writes that women were only kept down in their roles as housewives, essentially servants to their husbands and children. If they were allowed further into the workforce, they could be truly liberated and could contribute to society.
