15 marzo 1918 anni - Russia ends involvement in WW1 with the treaty of Brest-Litovsk
Descrizione:
Russia ended their involvement in WW1 in March of 1918. The treaty was signed by Ukraine and Russia to bring a peace to them. Germany had their own demands for the country like give Germany Polish and Baltic territories belonging to the Soviets. The Soviets stalled the German Demands but Lenin soon realized that the Soviet army cant go on in the conditions they are in. On March 3rd after stalling for a long time the Russian Government finally signed the treaty losing its Polish and Baltic territories, which ended in Russia not being involved in WW1 any longer. This is important because when they signed the treaty they lost some of their territories proving that they aren't strong enough to hold up their country.
