The Romanov family was executed in July of 1918. In June of 1918 a Civil war broke out an dhte Anti-Bolsheviks advanced towards Nicholas II everyday. After a secret meeting the royal family was put on death sentence.On July 16th Nicholas II and his entire family were told to dress fast and go to their basement. They were photographed then 12 men with guns burst in and shot the entire family to death. Their bodies were found in a forest 1991. This event was very significant because Nicholas II was the leader of Russia and he corrupted the country, and now that he was dead maybe Russia would return back.
