Six Boxborough residents sign articles of incorporation creating the Boxborough Conservation Trust: Francis (Frank) P. Coolidge, president, Samuel H. Fisk, Treasurer, Simon Bunyard, Clerk, Kenneth Fabian, Norman Hanover, David M. Koonce.

Despite losing the battle to save the 34 acre Hamilton Farm and High Pastures land, the founders persevered to assure future lands could be preserved.
