The Mexican Constitution was drafted by a constitutional convention in Santiago de Queretaro. The new Mexican Constitution would replace the old Constitution to reflect the changes regarding the provisional/democratic government. It was finalized and ratified by the Constitutional Congress in 1917, replacing the old Constitution from 1857.
