On a hot night in August 1981, Chuy died. A Brujah Vampire named Rosie Zapatero found herself alone and on the run from a pack of Anarchs in Chuy’s territory. Seeing something of his mother in Rosie, Chuy decided to step in. He lost several of his men in the process but managed to drive the Anarchs away temporarily.

After seeing what these creatures could do, and seeing Rosie quickly heal from her wounds, Chuy had a million questions. After talking nearly until dawn, Rosie gave Chuy the choice. By the next night, he had entered the World of Darkness.
