The Mughal dynasty was located in the India region and was created by a man named Babur, who claimed to be a descendant of Chinggis Khan. Invasions in 1525 led to the eventual capture of Delhi in 1526 which allowed for easier access to the rest of India. Babur hoped to use the extreme wealth of India to create a spectacular and wealthy empire, and this thought process was continued by the rulers following him. The Mughal dynasty really flourished under one man, named Akbar. Akbar was very tolerant and focused on making the dynasty better for everyone. Sadly, after Akbar, the tolerance receded and it was much more difficult to practice religions other than Islam.(4.2, 4.3)
