Ernes Rutherford didn't have a model name but his famous experiment was the Gold Foil. Gold Foil Experiment proved the existence of a small massive center to atoms, which would later be known as the nucleus of an atom. Ernes Rutherford discovered that atoms are empty space and electrons are ouside the positive nucleus .Thomson model of atom does not contain any details about nucleus whereas Rutherford model of atom explains about the nucleus of an atom.
