Sometime after Kishkumen first established the covenant of wickedness among his followers, there arose the man Gaddianton who was soon appointed the leader of this secret band.

Gaddianton was a man who was exceedingly expert in many words, as well as in secret works and wickedness. He established the old oaths of Cain among his band, and the all covenanted to hide the wickedness of the band from the law, and to establish Gadianton in power.
