Clients are in an Agreement with Reward Gateway, not Halfords. They don't want to enter a new contractual partnership with Halfords for the purpose of transferring ownership.

To delight our clients, we began the long process of creating a new client addendum for the purpose of managed extended hire and transferring ownership to Halfords. This meant that the ownership would transfer from the client to RG, then to Halfords. Halfords would then manage the extended hire directly with the employee. We also needed a new portal in Reward Manager that would allow the client to do this and automate the transfer to Halfords.

Why it matters to the employers?

They will no longer need to raise an invoice to Halfords and send over an employee list to process. Going forward, it will be a simple review and approve process all managed within Reward Manager!

Why it matters to the employees?

It is more secure. RG no longer transfer employee data to Halfords at the point of application. Contact details are transferred only once the asset has been transferred to Halfords. Their journey won't change.
