After the end of the Azerbaijani War, scavengers in northern Syria discovered a temple near Lake Assad. After the arrest of the scavengers by local authories and discovery of the temple by Terra Pact and UAR authorities, the entire region surrounding the lake was immeadiately put under the control of the TDF, UNSA, and IMUS.
