Julius Caesar rose to power and became the sole ruler of Rome. He then formed a partnership with Pompey and Crassus but then Pompey got jealous of Caesar's popularity which sparked war that ended in Pompey's death. A group of Senators led by Brutus later killed Caesar because they feared him becoming king.
