30 years after the events of that one school year at Little Rock Central High School, the nine students reunite with each other and visit the old school along with Bill and Hilary Clinton. They would soon be rewarded with a Congressional Gold Medal for their courage and sacrifice to going to that school during integration. It was near that time that Melba Pattillo Beals would publish her story about that very year 30 years ago.
