My first year ever donning the Trojan uniform was not as spectacular as my seventh grade year was. We only went 2-6, but we showed a lot of promise going into high school. The most memorable play that I had was a 70 yard interception return for a touchdown that I got in one of our two wins that season. It was the only touchdown I had scored all year as well. The best part about the play was the excessive celebration penalty for putting my finger in the air going into the end zone. To say the least, my dad was not happy about seeing that.
