Raf Simons presented his Spring Summer 2006 collection at the Boboli Garden in Florence, marking his first 10 years.

According to what Tim Blanks wrote for Style.com in 2006, the theme of Raf's collectiom
— Icarus, in all his heroic isolation. You could actually feel the airiness, a sense of movement and the notion of flights. As usual, the colour palette still strongly reflected the family background of Raf Simons in gunmetal, slate, black, air force blue and his beloved dove-gray.
