Without globalization, I would not get to eat plums as often as I want. I get my plums from Loblaws stores which source them from a variety of countries such as Argentina, Israel, South Africa, and more. Globalization allows Loblaws to operate in terms of sourcing produce in different countries and for the plums to be imported to Canada and sold to customers like me. This has an impact on Canada's economy because Loblaws profits from these plums are coming back to Canada as it is a domestic company.
