Duncan returned to the USA from Liberia, seeming healthy until he got the fever. Admitted to a hospital in Texas on September 28th, he ended up dying on October 8th of ebola; he and two of his nurses, Nina Pham and Amber Vinson, were the first cases of ebola in the States with the nurses being the first ones on American soil. Both nurses survived though Duncan ended up dying
