during the course of Voskhod 2's flight Alexei Leonov became the first man to "walk" (float) in space. (another first for the Soviets). Voskhod 2 was equipped with a inflatable airlock that would be Leonov's exit for his EVA. Voskhod 2 was launched with a Soyuz rocket and weighed 12526.67 pounds.
