5. One major cause
The Supreme Court decision of Brown v. Board of Education lead to the Little Rock Nine. Since it was decided that segregated schools were unconstitutional, the NAACP decided to start the integration process.

6. One major effect
The Little Rock Crisis occurred as a direct result of the Little Rock Nine. The Little Rock Nine were stopped from entering their new high school by a mob of white students, parents, and citizens. The mob yelled at and threatened the Little Rock Nine.
