This was a hydroelectric dam built on the Yangtze River which began during Jiang Zemin's administration. His goal was to create the dam to provide electricity to a significant portion of China and prevent flooding in the Yangtze River. It was fully functional in 2014, and notably slowed the rotation of the Earth.
