18 apr 1806 anni - The Non-Important Act

Descrizione:

The Non-Important Act was passed in April, 1806 as a response to Britain's increasingly tightening naval blockade of Napoleonic Europe in order to allow the Americans to freedom of neutral trade. The Act placed restrictiveness on importing metal goods, cloth, flax, glass, beer, and woolens. However, the major imports were not banned from the British. The act was generally seen as weak from both sides, and the British did not loosen up its grip on trade in Europe.
