22 giug 1774 anni - Quebec Act

Descrizione:

A law passed by British Parliament that granted French Canadians from Quebec access to the Ohio River Valley, which the British had won from the French and Indian War. British colonists were upset by the law, claiming that they were barred from the territory they had fought in a war for (because of the Royal Proclamation Line), but their enemies (the French) were allowed to reign free in it. It is sometimes considered part of the Intolerable (Coercive) Acts.
