Gregory Lee Johnson burned a flag in protest outside the Dallas City Hall and was arrested for it. He argued that it was free speech to do so and the supreme court agreed with him. Because he was arrested in the first place and had to wait for the supreme court, he did not enjoy the rights given in the constitution.
