After spending many days in Cyrodiil scouting enemy territories and enemy infantry movements, Gondul rides for Davon's Watch to visit Rowena, who had rented a room in The Watch House inn.

They spoke for many hours about many things. Rowena discussed what it was like being trapped in the soul gem, and the Necromancer responsible for betraying her and the Mages Guild.

She explained to Gondul that Mannimarco, the King of Worms and leader of the Worm Cult, was the one behind the traitorous Necromancer that seized her Soul, and that it was because of him that Gudrune had to sacrifice herself to Hircine and contract Lycanthropy.

Gondul wondered why Mannimarco would go out of his way to send a Worm Cultist to infiltrate the Mages Guild, and why Rowena would be targeted of all people.

After speaking for awhile longer, Gondul had gifted her a brail-transcribed version of his old journal from when he was a boy in Atmora.

She couldn't stress how honored she was for receiving the gift, but Gondul explained it was the least he could do.

Sadly, Gondul had more war planning to do, and after saying his warm goodbyes, rode back to his duties in the Jerall Mountains.
