am very happy to have been able to preserve this archive; it is a clean archive, methodical and organised. My nega-tives are more than sixty years old and they haven’t turned yellow. I preserved them in a scientific man-ner. They are very dear to me. In the summer I moved them to a cooler place to protect them. Each negative is in an envelope in a box. This was done throughout the chaos of Iraq of the last four decades. These nega-tives have a life of their own. They are like a closed museum, but they are in boxes instead of in a space.
