For the sake of brevity, CCP detailed in a newsletter that the invite-only Alpha for Project Nova would have to be postponed until further notice. This is because that in its state now, they would not be getting as much out of the Alpha testing as they want, and they need to finish working on the things already obvious or highlighted since EVE Vegas. They apologized for this, and said that this does not mean production has stopped or they are any less committed.
