Descrizione:

US federal government led by Andrew Jackson wanted to remove all Native Americans off of US land, to fulfill their Manifest Destiny, and onto reservations in the West, however the Indians refused so they had to forcefully transport the Indians on the so called Trail of Tears as so many Indians died on the route.
This event left a negative connotation of the idea of Manifest Destiny however did not stop the progressive expansion to the Pacific.
