Appeal written by John Dickinson to the King telling him that the colonies were unhappy, but hoped to make up with Britain. He wrote it in a way that made it seem like they weren't criticizing him, but rather the ministerial policy. He said that the colonies were forced to take up arms to defend themselves against the ministers hostilities.
