Articles of Confederation was signed as the first official constitution of the United States after beating Britain in the Revolutionary war. Caused by the win over Britain and the tyrannies the colonists were subject to. It impacted the entire country negatively because it made the central government weak and had very loose laws in that nothing could really be enforced.
