War is hell but sometimes it's worse. The ottomans ordered the rounding up of Armenians indivudals leading to the death of over a million Armenians. During it experiments were done using typhus, the people being used as guinea pigs by doctors and scientists, mainly of whom would be unrepentant about the atrocities they committed and the deaths they caused.
