1 gen 1360 anni - Christian Dualism (1360)
Descrizione:
This idea, begun by St. Augustine’s work City of God (410 A.D.) in which he explored the idea of a spiritual power and an earthly power, promotes the belief that there is to be a dualism in the Christian authorities in the world, a spiritual power and a political power. Previously under Caesaropapism, there had been one supreme earthly ruler and pontiff: Caesar. With Christian Dualism, we get the more modern Pope-King dynamic which continues for more than the next millennium. (Palmer 17)
