Despite Walt Disney Studio's accusations of being the first to produce a Technicolor film, Ub Iwerks utilized Technicolor's two-strip process to produce " Fiddlesticks" , which featured Flip the Frog performing a concert for his animal friends.
Iwerks, ironically enough being a previous employee of Walt Disney studios, contracted with MGM studios who purchased the rights to distribute a series of cartoons that starred Iwerks character, Flip the Frog.
