When the Alexander the Great conquered Egypt, it was a rather willing event. The people surrendered to him and he allowed them to continue on with their everyday lives. He didn’t want to change the ideas of others, and if they followed his rules they could do as they usually would.
This was the start of a new era in Egypt.
Alexander the Great helped to further the kingdom of Egypt.
