Persians empire spreaded across all of Southwest Asia, after they conquered Babylon. The Persian Empire included Land of Israel, Egypt, Asia Minor (that is now Turkey), and Mesopotamia. Jews were spreading across these regions. One of the most known person in Persian Empire was a woman named Esther. Bible says that she married Persian emperor and one of his advisors planned to kill all Jewish people, but the Persian emperor did not know that Esther was a Jew.
