When they got there, Moses gave the 10 Commandments to the Israelites. The escaping of the Israelites is called the Exodus. Moses’ importance to Jews is that Moses gave the 10 commandments to mankind, which includes Jews. Jews religion is based on the Bible and so the 10 commandments are very important for them. They even have a holiday called the Passover. The Ten Commandments are very important. Their whole religion is based on the Bible. In the Torah, it mentions the 10 Commandments twice, so I imagine they would be very important to Jews. The 10 commandments were given straight from God to man to the Jews, so they are very important to Jews. They’re also important to Western religions by basically the same thing. Their religious texts are also based around the 10 Commandments or at least mentions them more than once.
