1 feb 1665 anni - Cells
Descrizione:
Robert Hooke published Micrographia which details some of his observations he had made with his newly created microscope that was able to focus more clearly than other microscopes made before. Also in this year, he was the first to observe fungi and a cork tree, which he compared to an empty monastery. This was fundamental for the understanding of biology and the hidden small units of cells which enable the functions of organisms.
