Descrizione:
An 83 day strike caused by longshoremen in every west coast port walking out. The strike was mainly caused by the aftermath of the war. It lead to "Bloody Thursday" which was the peak of the strike. Picketers refused to leave which forced the police to take action. The police released tear gas into the crowd. The strikers began to fight back and tried to tip over police cars. The police shot the picketers and two men ended up dying. Arbitration ended the strike.
