Laika was the first earthly mammal to visit outer space.On November 3, 1957, Laika took off, doing something that no other dog has ever done. What did she see? How was the view? Humans would not answer those questions for another 4 years. Unfortunately, Laika did not survive the trip, dying before her three week journey was over.
