Maurya becomes king. Asoka was
one of the strongest Mauryan rulers.
He extended the Mauryan Empire to
more than 2/3 of India. The empire
turned stronger and richer. After withnessing
one of the most cruel war,
Asoka converted into Buddhism.
He decided from that day he will never go
on war to conquer land. Asoka
converted most of India to Buddhism.
As you can see this shows that Mauryan
Empire was one of the most powerful
empires to exist.
